CAMP Yo-Yo Belay Device

A really good, easy to use self-locking belay device. Easier to use (and much more affordable!) than the Petzl Griri as there's no danger of using this one the wrong way up, as people have done with the GriGri, which means it doesn't work! I'm a climbing and abseiling instructor and personally love using the YoYo when belaying people - especially if they're bigger than me! It is fair to say the locking mechanism isn't as sophisticated as that of the GriGri - but when locked it can stop me from going anywhere (and I weigh quite a lot)! If you want a self-locking belay device but don't want to pay 50 quid, buy one of these!
